It is one of the main attractions. In 1863, Vera Levinge, former District Collector of Madurai converted a marshland into the lake. It looks magnificent with its star shape, nestled between verdant slopes.



This famous pathway constructed in 1872 runs for a kilometer, winding along the edge of steep slopes. The walk snaking around Mt.Nebo provides an elaborate, spectacular view of the plains below.



This sculpture of Mother Nature is truly spectacular. Three immense vertical granite boulders, each about 400 feet high stand shoulder to shoulder! The chamber between the two pillars is called 'Devil's kitchen'.



The Park, situated in the heart of the town, has a Eucalyptus tree that is 150 years old and a Bodhi tree among the over three hundred trees and shrubs. It has over seven hundred varieties of roses too!



This enchanting waterfall is located on the main Ghat road. What's interesting about this falls is that it is the overflow of Kodai Lake that takes a 180 ft plunge over a steep cliff, to crash into a pool below.



This famous shrine is dedicated to Lord Murugan. The Lord is worshipped here, as the God of the Hills and this temple is associated with the Kurinji flower, which blooms once in 12 Years.



A century old church, known for the annual festival which falls on August 15th of every year.
